I-BAR SEALERS
 |
I-Bar Sealers were designed for shrink film packaging, but they
can also be used for poly bag sealing. The I-Bar Sealer works
just like a Hand Sealer. The sealer usually comes with round
wire for cut and seal. Depending on the model of the machine,
film up to 34" wide and 0.025mm (100 gauge) thickness can be
used. All sealers are of steel construction including the work
base for quality and durability. Timer,
heat gun holder, film
roller, film separator and cutter unit are some of the different
features of the sealers. Easy to operate. Insert the product
between the 2 layers of center fold film and press down the
sealing bar. Pull the sealed package slightly away from the
sealing bar. The element wire will cut and seal the edge. Now
turn it over and seal the other side. Apply hot air using
heat
gun to shrink the film uniformly.
The W-series I-bar sealers are ivory colored. They are available
in 14", 20", 26", 30" and 35" with a round or 2.7mm seal width.
Manufacturer's replacement kit comes with 3 round elements and 2
teflon adhesives.

I-Bar sealers with cutter can be considered as universal
sealers. It has the features of a hand sealer, hand sealer with
cutter, and an I-Bar sealer. Can be used to cut and seal poly
bags, tubings and films.
THe W-series come in ivory and the cutting length of 14", 20",
26", 30", and 35" are 12", 18", 24", 28" amd 33" respectively.
The sealer is exactly like the I-Bar W-Series except with the
additional cutter unit attached on the right side of the sealing
bar. The blade cuts 5/8" from the seal.
Film and
heat gun are sold separately. Manufacturer's kit
includes 3 flat elements, 2 teflon adhesives, and 1 blade.
